One of the best scene that I liked the best was when Gandhi was sitting with the guy from the Journal News and was telling him about his child hood and then out of no were he got the idea of the Salt March.
Another scene that I like was when Gandhi was a getting ready to start marching to the sea port. Then he got to this one road were he caught up with other people from another town or city and he started to run towards those people. Gandhi seemed very pleased and happy with this.
The Salt March was when Gandhi decide one day to march 50 miles to the Sea Port. He wanted to boycott British Salt.they went there to make it and to sell it. The British did not like this, they send the British Army to arrest everybody who was buying and selling this salt.
The Amritsar's Massacre was about one of the lowest thing that they British could do. I thought that the General took it to a whole nether level when he told his soldiers to start shooting at all the men, women and children just because a Muslim was specking out about freedom for India. Women and children were jumping into the wells to escape the shooting soldiers. Men got killed for no reason. People were trying to climb the walls and General ordered them to turn the other way to shoot at them.
1.Civil Disobedience- When you disobey unjust laws.
2.Passive Resistance- Opposition to a government or to specific governmental laws by the use of noncooperation and other nonviolent methods, as economic boycotts and protest marches.
